“MANDOOS” was launched on December 2, 2014. Bringing a whole new 3D experience to traditional animation, the groundbreaking Emirati cartoon series features several seasons – each consisting of 15 seven-minute episodes and 10 tablets mini games . “MANDOOS” is produced by the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, directed by Mohammed Saeed Harib, and created by Lammtara Art Production. The animated adventure begins in Season One as two young children, Meera and Mohammed, embark on a spectacular journey to discover their UAE heritage and unearth their ancestors’ past. The animated series is named after The MANDOOS, a traditional wooden box that is known for its unique engravings, and is an intrinsic part of UAE culture and tradition.
